PET POLICY: ✺ Up to one house-trained dog, 25 lbs or less - must be added to the reservation, fully potty-trained and current on shots, flea and tick treatments. ✺ Absolutely no dog on beds or couches - penalties apply ✺ Dog must be in crate if left alone ✺ Pick up dog's waste. Failure to do so, will result in $100 cleaning surcharge if our cleaners have to do that for you. ❗If you don't disclose that you will be bringing a pet and do so, the cost is $200 per pet per night. SERVICE DOGS: ✺ No pet fees for a service dog. ✺ Under the ADA, the dog must be under control by the handler at all times; therefore, never left alone at any time. ❗ If we discover a guest has misrepresented a pet as a service animal, we reserve the right to seek financial restitution, report fraudulent claims to government authorities and to evict the guest(s) without further notice. In the latter case, there will be no right to a refund for unused rent. STAY RULES: ✺AGREEMENT: Since we allow dogs and provide kayaks, SUPs, and children's amenities, to comply with insurance requirements, we require guests to sign an agreement. The terms of such agreement are summarized here. After booking, we'll send it to you. Please make sure to e-sign it within 48 hours of your reservation on our property management portal. If you would like to see a copy of the agreement prior to booking, we will be delighted to do so upon inquiry. ✺VISITORS: allowed only upon host's prior written authorization. ✺STAYS 30+ DAYS: for those reservations local tenancy laws may apply; therefore, a standard lease agreement will need to be executed to complete such reservations along with the collection of a refundable security deposit. Please request a copy prior to booking via an inquiry, so that you can review the terms and ask any questions you may have. ✺ ID: To abide by applicable legal requirements, you may be asked to complete a secure verification portal by providing a copy of your official government-issued photo ID ✺ SUPERVISION: The property has not been child or pet proofed. Kids + pets are welcome with adult supervision. Their safe and fun stay is 100% your responsibility. ✺ PESTS+INSECTS: You're in South Carolina, and that means bugs! Mosquitoes, spiders, palmetto bugs – they're all part of the local scenery. While we provide regular pest control services, critter curiosity is inevitable, especially if the door is left open or food is left out. It's important to understand that complete elimination is impossible in our natural environment, especially at the lake! Therefore, we cannot offer refunds for the presence of these creatures, whether inside or outside the property. Should you encounter any issues, please contact us immediately, and we will address them promptly. ✺ SMOKING: Smoking or vaping is permitted outdoors only, and we kindly ask that you do so away from all doors and windows to prevent smoke from entering the property. Indoor smoking/vaping is strictly prohibited. A $500 cleaning fee will be applied if there is any evidence of smoking or vaping inside. Please ensure all cigarette butts are properly disposed of; a cleaning fee will also be charged if our cleaning crew has to remove them from the grounds. ✺ OWN RISK: The house and all its amenities are provided "as is" and their use is at your own risk. Please exercise caution and inform management immediately if equipment is damaged or not functioning properly before using it. ✺ REPORTING: Should you encounter any issue during your stay, you shall report it to owner immediately otherwise you waive your right to raise it later. ✺VIDEO CAMERAS: For the safety of our guests and the property, external security cameras are in use, similar to standard hotel security practices. Please be assured that no interior cameras or recording devices are present. If the presence of external security cameras is a concern, we totally understand! However, we respectfully ask that you consider alternative accommodations. For this reason, tampering with the internet, modem, WiFi, or any electronic device that causes video cameras to malfunction or come "off line" is strictly prohibited. ✺FRAGRANCES: We use plug-ins and fragrance in our linens. Please contact us before booking, if you are fragrance-sensitive, to be sure we can maximize your comfort. Your positive experience is important to us. ✺ DO NOT FEED OR SHELTER THE NEIGHBORHOOD CATS We appreciate your love for animals! Our neighbors have adopted outdoor cats, and they have multiple homes that provide them with food and care, including bringing them indoors during extreme weather. The cats have been spayed/neutered. We are also managing a severe cat allergy and are trying to minimize contact which is why we ask that you neither feed nor shelter the cats. Thank you for your understanding. ✺ NO CRYPTO-MINING
